Here is a procedure you could use to insert the SD Card into the Huawei X1 device.

To have extra space on your device to store file such as MP3, video (MP4), images and document, you will need to add the SD Card for the additional space. Here's how:

1. Turn off the Huawei X1.

2. Turn your phone over and take out the back cover. On the top of the device there is a small gap where you could place your finger nail in and pull the cover out.

3. Now take out the battery.

4. Next you can insert the SD card into the SD Card slot. First you need to lift up the latch, then slide in the SD card and close the latch. See illustrated picture below.

5. Now put back the battery and close the back cover.

6. Switch your phone back on and see if you have the extra storage space.
