When giving your phone to someone else for emergency situation, you may like to restrict the out going call so that they could only receive calls on the Samsung Galaxy S 2.

These days, most kids going to school with a mobile phone, however if you allow then to make calls you could face with a huge phone bill. You can stop them from making call, but allow them to receive call by enable the call barring feature. Here's how:

1. Press the Home key.

2. Next open the Application list and select Settings, or tap Menu android-menu-key key and select Settings.

3. Select Call Settings.

4. Tap on Additional Settings.

5. Choose Call barring.

6. Select a call type.

7. Next you can choose a call barring option. You get options like bars internation calls, bar calls to number XYZ, bars national, internation and calls to mobiles, bars all calls and etc. Choose an option that is suited for your situation.

8. Next set a password, and select OK.

9. Your request is now being send to the network provider.
