There is a very good reason why put a password on the Samsung Droid Charge in the first place, but what happen when we forgot the password, and what do we do to recover it.

If you now have forgotten the password, then you are also locking yourself out of your phone, let's look at some of the way you could get back in.

Unlock with a code

1. Switch off your Samsung Droid Charge.

2. Next remove the SIM card from the device.

3. Now switch the phone back on.

4. Then put in the code *2767*28787#.

5. You will see the phone will turn off and on again.

At this point you should be able to get back into your Droid Charge. If not then try the below reset method.

Reset your phone from software menu

1. From the Home screen tap on Settings.

3. Select Privacy.

3. Then select Factory data reset.

4. Now choose Reset Phone.

Reset with hardware key

1. Press the Power button to turn off the unit.

2. Press and hold down the Volume Down button located on the side of the device, then press the Power button and release it.

3. You will see the phone start with a menu with a list of options.

4. Use the Volume Down button and navigate to the Clear Storage option.

5. Then press on the Power button.

5. Choose Yes.
