I find that it is extremely inconvenience if the trackball doesn't work. You may have been using your BlackBerry for awhile and overtime the trackball has accumulate dirt, lint and other things that cause it to finally come to a stop. Here's how to clean your trackball and get it going again:

1. Try to firmly press and roll the trackball in the direction that it does not work or want to move, at the same time try to blow off any dust around it.

2. You could also popout the trackball and use a damp rag and try to clean it.

3. If your trackball is damaged you could also try to purchase a new one and replace the old one.
