If you don't want to use the Yahoo! toolbar add-on in the Firefox web browser you could remove it so that you have more screen space. When install certain software such as Yahoo Messenger the Yahoo toolbar add-on is installed on Firefox. The toolbar has a search box allowing you to do some searching on the web. In addition it also has some shortcuts to mailbox, electronic shopping website, news site and etc.
I rarely use this toolbar at all and it is annoying to have it. So here is how to remove it: 1. Click on Tools > Add-ons. 2. Then select Extensions on the left hand side. 3. Next select Yahoo! Toolbar, here you have the option to just disable it or remove it completely.
4. Click on Disable or Remove button. Did you like this tip?
