A user recently have complaint that when they run Outlook 2007 it crashes and sends an error Faulting Module msvcr80.dll to the event logs.

The log entry show the errors:

faulting module msvcr80.dll,

stamp 471eb5ae,

fault address 0x000149e9

After some investigation I have found out that they have recently install an Add-In called Able2Doc. The plugin has cause a conflict which make Outlook 2007 crashed.

You will need to disable the add-in to get Outlook running again. To disable the add-in try this:

1. Go to Tools -> Trust Center.
2. In the Add Ins section ensure that you have disable the add-in Able2Doc.
3. Restart your Outlook 2007 and see if it operate as normal now.

  You may get such type of errors in Outlook because of missing msvcr80.dll files or the required dll file has been damaged. You may come out of the situation by reinstalling the required DLL file. If you have lost data from PST files because of such error messages than don't worry you can easily recover them using PST recovery Software.
