How to fix a problem with FaceTime cannot open on iPad 2.

FaceTime allows you to video chat with the other person who is also using FaceTime. However if you cannot open FaceTime then how are you suppose to video chat?

When you tap on the FaceTime icon it start for a few seconds and then return to the Home screen. When this happen try the following:

- Restart the iPad.

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds.
 
 2. When you see the red slider shown up. Slide it to the right.
 
 3. Now press and hold Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple picture appear on the screen.

- Download the latest iOS software for the iPad 2. Appearently there is a new bug fix for FaceTime with the version 4.3.2.

- Try to completely close the application and open a new one.

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Tap on the Home button twice.

3. Then touch and hold the FaceTime icon until you see it jiggle.

4. Click on the X button to close the app.

5. Now try to open the app again.
