Learn how you can fix problems with send and recieve email on the iPad. Most smart devices now a day allows you to use email. With the iPad it is not different, emailing on the iPad can be quiet easy but sometimes you can run into troubles. If you do have trouble then you may have to try the following and see if it fixes your problem. Can't receive email on the device: 1. Cannot Get Mail because your account is locked When you get an error "Cannot Get Mail" your account maybe locked out on another device. The reason you get this error is because you may have log on to your email account using another device, and now your account is still active on that device. The POP3 email only allow you to log in only 1 at a time, do so at 2 place will cause the account to lock it self. It is also know as Mailbox Locked. To solve this problem simply try to call all the mail application on all the devices you have used. Then wait for around 5 to 10 minutes for the mail server to reset the previous connection and unlock the mail account. To stop this from re-occuring in the future you can close the mail application when you have finished using it, and try to increase the time interval when fetching mail messages on your devices. If it's still doesn't work after a 5 minutes, then you could try to turn of the device completely to ensure all connections is disconnected from the mail server. 2. Don't try to sync from iTunes but rather set up the email account directly on the iPad itself. Here's how: First stop the Sync Mail Accounts from iTunes. 1. Start iTunes and connect the iPad to the computer. 3. Try to restart the iPad 1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for 3 seconds. 4. If you use Yahoo, Gmail or MSN and it doesn't work then try to set it up manually by choose Other when adding new account. Go to the email provider and get the setup detail. 5. When you have an iPad that has Wi-Fi + 3G then sometimes you can get an issue with receiving email. Try to use Cellular data network and turn off Wi-Fi. To turn off Wi-Fi: 2. Select Settings. 3. Then select Wi-Fi. 4. Now switch the status to Off.
Can't Send Email on the device: 1. Try to restart the iPad 1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for 3 seconds. 2.
