Home iPad Tips iPad 2: How To Create A Folder
Author:

Create folder on iPad 2 Home screen so that you could better organise a group of similar apps into one folder. By grouping similar apps into one folder you will be able to locate the app easily at a later stage, and it will make your Home screen look a lot neater. Here's how:

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Touch and hold on one of the icon that you would like to put it into the folder. Wait until you see it jiggles.

3. Now drag that jiggling icon onto another icon and a new folder is automatically created which includes the two icons. To change the default folder name, simply tap on the name field.

If your device is connected to iTunes then you could also create a folder in iTunes.

Thanks. use the above steps to create the folder, then delete the icon you don't want in the folder, once the folder is created you could then place other item in that folder.
