Learn how you could enable or disable cookies on the Safari web browser so that you could browser certain website.

Cookies allow websites to record information about you and your visit. The next time you visit the site, that cookies can be use to better serve your your need. For example, advertisement company uses information from the cookies to configure what ad to display on the web page base on your browsing history. If you search and browse a lot about shoes then you will more likely to see ads about shoes.

Note that certain websites require cookies to be enabled for it to work. For example if you use Yahoo mail service and you have disable cookies then you may not be to function the site properly.

Here's how to turn it on:

1. Go the Home screen.

2. Tap on Settings.

3. Then select Safari.

4. Next tap on Accept Cookies.

5. Now choose Never, From Visited, or Always.

    This was quite a frustrating situation for myself also.

    I kept changing the Accept Cookies button to always and nothing happened.

    Then I realized that my Private Browsing button was "ON"

    Once I turned it to "OFF" I was able to log-inn to my social media site "Facebook" and everything else.

    I have done all of the above and it still doesn't let me download facebook. same message about cookies keeps popping up

    Private browsing "OFF" was the remedy that worked for me. I tried everything that others suggested, but no one mentioned turning off "Private Browsing". That was the secret to enable cookies to remember me on frequently visited web sites. Thanks for the help!

    How do I turn off, personal browsing? I have tried EVERYTHING and I still can't get back into my FB account. It's been almost two weeks. Someone please help!
