Home iPad Tips iPad 2: How To Make BookMarks On Safari
Author:

While browsing the web you may find some interesting pages and you may wish to make a bookmark from the Safari browser on the iPad 2.

Once you have them bookmarked, you can then later go back to that page by clicking on the saved Bookmark. Here's how:

1. Go to the desire web page that you want to make a bookmark.

2. Next tap on the + icon next to the address bar to save the bookmark. If you don't see the + icon, then tap on the right arrow burst out of the box.

3. Put in the name to give it a description.

4. Choose a folder of where you want to save it.

That open book icon is a history button? I've been book marking and now don't know where the pages have been saved or how to access them!

Your instructions. They are not understandable.. and most people do not have the icons on their ipad 2 that for some miraculous reason you seem to have. Please stop creating such confusion in the cyberworld just because you think you can make a buck.

    AGAIN: LEARN PROPER ENGLISH. Goddammit!
  • P. Kistel  - your english(?)
Why can't you people who come from a foreign language background learn idiomatic English before you presume to instruct others in computer use? The jargon one has to wade through in order to understand the complex procedures of computers is annoying enough without the added irritation of pidgin-like idioms.

Want examples from this very page?

    1. "While browsing the web you may find some interesting page" ... It's _an interesting page_ (singular) or _interesting_ pages (plural).

    2. (same sentence) "and you wish to make a bookmark from Safari on the iPad 2." Continue the construction chosen in the first half: "and you _may_ wish...." Or else, "_when_ you wish ...."

    3. "Go to the desire web page that wish to make a bookmark." That's _desired_ web page. Oh, and the page isn't doing the wishing. "..._where_ you wish to make.... (except that the idea of "wish" is already implied in the previous "desired".

  • Bob Fielder  - Fine line between idiomatic and idiotic . . .
:ooo: reentje kay & P. Kistel, this double incarnation of a single idiot, embarrasses both himself and every one forced to endure the reading of his double posting rant. Anyone who, in a single breath, says, "LEARN PROPER ENGLISH!" followed with "Goddamit!" clearly knows little about expressing themselves properly in any language. I applaud everyone involved with this site for their sane and proper use of the English language and for their providing such an undeservedly respectful reply to such disrespectful feedback. Please, keep up the good work you are doing. Take what little comfort there may be in knowing that the majority of us appreciate what you're trying to do here.
