The iPad 2 devices come with a bunch of external devices which you could use such as keyboard and mouses. Before you cause use these devices you will first need to pair them up. Here's how to pair them up:

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Pick General.

3. Select Bluetooth.

4. Have Bluetooth set to On.

5. Ensure your external devices has been set to discoverable enabling iPad 2 to detects it.

6. Now on the iPad select an available device for pairing.

7. Enter the PIN if it ask for it.

Once the two devices are connected you should see a Bluetooth ipad-2-bluetooth icon appear on the screen.
