How to remove an icon from a folder on the iPad 2?

Sometimes you may want to move an icon out of one of the folder because you may feel it no longer relevent to stay in a particular folder. Perhaps you just want to better re-organize the folder so that you can keep things cleaner. Here's how:

1. Go to the Home screen that contains the folder.

2. Tap on the icon to open the folder.

3. Now touch and hold on the app icon and begin to drag it out of the folder.

That icon is now removed from the folder.
