The iPad 2 has tonnes of functionalities and heaps of storage space. Sometimes you may want to share file between the iPad and computer so that you could backup files on the iPad to the PC, or you simply just want to transfer certain documents to the computer so that you could work on it. What ever your motive is, here's how you can do it:

Transfering from iPad to a computer

1. Plugin the iPad to the computer.

2. Open up iTunes, then on the left panel select your iPad device from the Devices section.

3. Click on the Apps tab at the top of the screen.

4. Then go to the File Sharing area and pick an app from the list.

5. On the right panel, you will see a list of available file for sharing, select the desire files to transfer to the computer and click on "Save to".

6. Save the file to a desire location on your computer.

Transfering from computer to iPad

1. Plugin the iPad to the computer.

2. Open up iTunes, then on the left panel select your iPad device from the Devices section.

3. Click on the Apps tab at the top of the screen.

4. Then go to the File Sharing area and click on Add.

5. Select a desire file and click on Choose for Mac or OK for PC.

Repeat the previous steps if you would like to add more files.

Note that not all apps support the sharing feature.
