iPad 2: How To Turn Off iPad

If you are not longer using the device you could turn off the iPad 2 to save battery power. Turning of the iPad is quiet simple similar to other Apple's product such as the iPod, iPhone or the first generation iPad. Here's how to turn if off:

1. Press and hold on the Sleep/Wake button (located on the top right hand side) until you see the slide bar appears at the top of the screen. A message will display says "slide to power off".

2. Now use your finger and move the slide bar from left to right. If you have change your mind you could cancel the operation by tapping on the Cancel button.

To turn it back on again simply touch and hold on the Sleep/Wake button.
