Sometimes you need to add additional field to an iPhone contact details. For example you may wish to add a note, email, birthdate, postal number and etc. iPhone is quiet flexible in this regard, and you can new additional field as needed to store the extra information. Here's how:

1. Open up the Contacts app on iPhone.

2. Select an existing contact, and tap on Edit.

3. Now tap on the Add Field.

4. Now put in the new details.
