Here is a procedure to clear a Safari web history on the iPhone 4 device.

When you have visited a website, the web link is recorded in the history database. After a period of time, you may get a large database contains all the links of the websites you have visited. When you want to remove all those history you can do the following:

1. Go back to he Home screen.

2. Then choose Settings.

3. Now select Safari.

4. Select Clear History.
