By default, when someone calls you, your iPhone 4 makes the same ringtone for all incoming calls. You could customize a different ringtone for each different contact on your smart phone. For example, you could assign one ringtone for your partner, one for your parent and another for friends.

When you hear that unique incoming ringtone, you will immediately recognize who is calling. Here's how to set it up:

1. Open up the Contacts app on the iPhone.

2. Select an existing contact, and tap on Edit.

3. Then on the ringtone field.

4. Now you can select a desire ringtone for the selected contact.
