More then 4 millions iPhone 4S has been sold not long after it launched. However there are so many people already complaint that the device works fine for a day and then crashed. The screen become frozen and unresponsive. Here are some of the problem people are facing:

  • iPhone 4S becomes unresponsive after leaving in the pocket for more then 30 minutes.
  • The battery would not charge fully and stuck at 87% and then frozen with a black screen. When plug the device into the wall socket power it turns back on.
  • The device suddenly no longer workds with car charger.
  • Device does not charge with the socket but only through the PC or laptop USB port.
  • iPhone 4s switches on when you switch off the mains charger.


It appears that what most people would do first off is to reset the device back to default factory setting. If that doesn't work they then perform a factory restore.

Here's how to reset the device:

press and hold the Sleep/Wake + the Home button for around 10 seconds.

If resetting does work then you may have to bring it back to Apple Care for a replacement. For some of the problem Apple have admitted that their is a problem with the hardware and they are happy to give a replacement device. Goodluck for those of you who have a faulty device at hand.
