A lot of people have complaint that while they are installing apps on the iPod Touch they are stuck in “Waiting” mode and it is not fully installed. Also you may get the problem of not able to remove the application because you cannot see the X icon appears when you try to tap and hold on the icon.

If you ever face this problem, you could try to reset the iPod Touch, and then after the device starts again, the Waiting apps should be able to continue and finish the installation.

To reset the iPod Touch: Press and hold the Home + Power buttons for around 15 seconds and it should restart.
