When using Joomla I always thought it is unnecessary to have the section category. Well finally they have remove it.

With Joomla version 1.5.x the Section menu normally located at Content > Section Manager. When you upgrade to Joomla 1.6 or 1.7 or a later version, you no longer see this as an option.

Instead of using section, you can just create category and sub category and so on and so on.

If you look at the Content menu, you can only see Article Manager, Category Manager, Featured Articles and Media Manager.
