When you first install your Joomla site, by default the home page will display at least 3 articles. You might like to change the number or articles to display on the page. For instance you only want to display just one article on the home page at any time. Here's how to make the changes:

1. Log into the administration screen.

2. Click on Menus > Main Menus.

3. Now click on the Home link.

4. On the right panel, under Layout Options, change the Leading Articles to 1 and the Intro Articles to 1. Ofcourse you could set this to something else if you preferred.

5. Save your changes when you are done.
