Learn how to switch to silent mode on the Nokia Lumia 800 device.

In some places you need to switch your mobile phone to the silent mode, such as in an aeroplanes, hospitals, meeting and ect.

Here we go:

1. Press a Volume key on the right side of the phone.

2. The volume status bar appears.

3. To switch on the Silent mode, tap bell icon .

Now the silent mode is switched on , all ringtones and alert sounds are muted.

When the phone is on silent, if there is an incoming call it will vibrates instead, you still would get an indicator from your device that someone is calling.
