I had an existing report on Desktop Intelligence and it works fine previously, however suddenly today when I run it I had this error:

cannot find the connection '' or you may not have access rights to use this connection

After doing some digging it turns out that the data provider is not connecting to the database properly.

I deleted the data provide and created a new one, then the problem goes away.

If you have this problem give it a try and see if that solve your problem.
