Find out how adding a new contact on the Samsung Galaxy S II is simple and easy.

When making a phone call you could key in the number manually and make a call or you could select a preset contact from the phonebook. If you regularly making a call to the same number then it is best that you create a new contact for the number so you don't have to keep dialing the number.

There are two ways you can add a new contact, either through the Contacts app or through the dialing screen. Here's how:

1. Go back to the Home screen.

2. Open the application list.

3. Now tap on Contacts.

4. Tap on the samsung-galaxy-s-new-contact-plus-icon icon.

5. Next select where you would like to save the contact either to the phone or the SIM card memory.

6. Now put in the contact detail such as first name, last name, email, phone number and etc.

7. Finally when you are done tap on the Save button.

 

To create a new contact from the dialing screen:

1. Go back to the Home screen.

2. Then select Application List.

3. Select Phone > Keypad.

4. Then key in the number you wish to dial.

5. Select Add Contacts, then tap on samsung-galaxy-s-new-contact-plus-icon icon.

6. Next select where you would like to save the contact either to the phone or the SIM card memory.

7. Now put in the contact detail such as first name, last name, email, phone number and etc.

8. Finally when you are done tap on the Save button.
