Avatars are small images chosen by the user. It appears next to or under usernames in thread display and user info pages. When users select or upload an avatar, the image will be displayed on their posts.The administrator can assign the avatar permission on a per-usergroup basis. If you are the administrator, this tutorial will help alots. Today, i will show you how to configure avatars on your vBulletin board. Here's how: 1. Enter your username/password as administrator to access the admincp system (vBulletin Admin Control Panel). 2. After you have logged in, on the left column you will see the option Settings. 3. Next expand Settings option, by double click on the right icon (see below picture).
4. Then click on Options and the right window will load. 5. In the multiple box, scroll down and double click on User Picture Options (see below picture).
In this section you can adjust the following options:
- Avatars Enabled: Use this option to enable or disable the overall use of avatars. - Avatars Per-Page: This option defines the number of avatars will be displayed on the selection page. - Profile Pictures Enabled: Use this option to enable or disable the overall use of profile pictures.
