This tutorial will guide you how to download and upload styles in vBulletin. If you have created a style of which you are proud of, you would want to backup all your styles and templates setting to a file on your computer. Then later you can share it with other administrators. You can even use it later on your other forums. 1. Use the username and password and logon as an administrator to access the admincp system (vBulletin Admin Control Panel). 2. Once you have log in successfully, you will see Styles & Templates on the left hand panel. 3. Next expand the option Styles & Templates by double click on the right icon (see below picture).
4. Click Download/Upload Styles. 5. To Download the style, follow below steps:
a) If you manage lot of styles, select the style you want to download in the combo box name Style. b) Click Download if you are ready to have this style. c) Click on Browse, and select a locaion to save the file. 6. To Upload the style, follow these steps:
a) Browse the XML style file you want to upload. b) Enter the title name of the uploaded style (eg. New year 2012). c) Select Parent Style, if you want to set this style as a child. If not, leave it as default (No Parent Style). d) Once completed, click the Import button to upload the style. Go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager and find the style you have just created.
