| Fixed: Windows 7 Welcome Screen Slow Response time |

A couple of people around the web has mentioned that their Windows 7 Welcome screen has taken forever to load. After doing some research why is it take so long for Windows 7 to start, I have found out that Micorsoft have acknowledged that this is their fault. Check here on Microsoft knowledge base for more information. The reason being why it is so slow is because you may not be using a wallpaper but instead you have use a solid background color. If you are using a solid Background color then your system is expected to hang for 30 seconds while it try to logon. To fix this problem use a wall paper instead.
