Using Windows 7 System Restore

One of a very value tool in Windows 7 is the System Restore utility. The most common problems with installing new software is that some time you might inadvertently installed some bad or incompatible software that might corrupts the operating system registry, device drivers or the system DLL files. The system restore utility automatically backs up these files when a new software is installed, so in the event of a system failure you to can restore the system back to a time when it is in a good running state.

To use Windows 7 System Restore:

 1. Right click on My Computer and then select Properties

TIPS: If you find the current restore point still does not solve your problem you can always choose an older restore point which your computer may be in a good running state.

5. Click the finish button when you have satisfied with your selection for the restore operations to begin.
