Internet Explorer 7 Enable Disable Javascript

In this tutorial you will learn how to enable or disable JavaScript in Internet Explorer 7. The reason why you would want to disable JavaScript is because certain website that contains viruses was written by JavaScript and this script could hijack and take control of your computer. Other good reasons to turn off Javascript are to stop unwanted advertisement from displaying on the webpage.

To enable or disable JavaScript in Internet Explorer follow these steps: 

1. Click Tools on the menu bar.

 2. Click on Options.

3. Click on Security tab. 

4. Click Internet. 

5. Click on Custom level…

6. From the dialog scroll down to the Scripting section and select the radio button to Enable or Disable it. You may also opt for IE7 to prompt you to allow scripts to run.

7. Click on OK until you have fully exited.

Follow the above step to re-enable or disable JavaScript.
