Home Windows Office 2010: How to Turn Clipboard On/Off
Author:

We will show you at least two ways you can quickly turn the Microsoft Office 2010 clipboard on or off easily.

Office clipboard by default contains the last 24 items that you have copied onto the clipboard. When you want to paste several previous copy items into a new paragraph you could select what you want to paste from the clipboard. But how do you turn it on so you could choose what to paste? Here's how:

Solution 1

1. While you have a document opened, be it Word, Excel, Outlook or Powerpoint, click on the Home Tab.

2. Then click on the down arrow next the word Clipboard. This will turn the clipboard on or off.

3. By default the clipboard is attached to the left side of the screen, you could float it if you like. It will show you the last 24 copied items.

Solution 2

1. First you must be on the Home tab, then while you are editing the document, when you want to turn the clipboard on or off, highlight a text and press Ctrl + C twice. If pressing Ctrl + C key twice does not work then you may have to enable this function first.

2. To enable the function, follow the Solution 1 tutorial, then below the clipboard section click on the Option button.

3. Ensure the Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice is selected.
